CHROMIQ BLUE - TYPE D BAGS

Bulk bags are extremely versatile and can be suitable to store or transport a wide range of products from sand and sugar to hazardous chemicals, and lots more in between.

Volatile and combustible materials can be stored and transported in bulk bags, but it

is very important to make sure that the right bag is used.

Special attention has to be given for the materials being put into the bag, but the actual filling and discharge environment also needs careful consideration.

Paint manufacturer is a good example of this. Whilst the material in the bag itself maybe a mineral, when discharged it may create static in the bulk bags, causing positive and negative charge transfer. This can create a spark which can arc and ignite the combustible material or fumes within the process.

The Type D bags do not need earthing like other bags, which makes them easy to use with no grounding equipment required. They also take out the 'human error' aspect of earthing a bag.
